How did you become a real estate broker?
I worked for 25 years in the restaurant business, where customers are treated with great care. Customers come to you and if you want them to go home happy, you need to take care of them and attend to their needs. When I decided to reorient my career, there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to continue working with the public. And since I’ve always had a great love for houses, architecture, design and decor, I turned to real estate. It was an easy choice.Contact me
What factors influenced your choice of banner?
For me, what’s most important is being surrounded by a successful team. I’m a very demanding person and I expect the same from those I work with. I believe that with the right support, a broker will be more successful. In my view, the RE/MAX banner is one step ahead of the pack. It offers better tools, better guarantees for my clients, greater visibility, and above all, a bigger market share. My belief is that those who want to win partner with winners.
What do you like most about your work?
What I really enjoy about my job is the gratification I get from seeing satisfied customers. Ensuring the customer is satisfied is essential if I want them to come back or recommend me to others. That’s why I am always available for my clients. With all of the online real estate platforms out there, brokers need to stand out with great customer service.

Talk to us about the risks of selling a home on your own
During sales with homeowners who sell on their own, things don’t always go so smoothly. I have seen first-hand how happy people are to count on solid legal advice when a major complication arises. An extended family member sold his home on his own a few years ago and he called me every single day with questions. The sale eventually went through, but with endless complications. In fact, 52% of all private home sales eventually end up in the hands of a broker.
How do you envision your future?
Real estate is my life’s passion. I get so much fulfilment from career that I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I’ll probably be in real estate until I retire. I have lived on the Plateau since the mid-1970s. Our office is located there, and I know I offer great service because I know the neighbourhood, the people and the surrounding areas.Contact me
